Welcome to Capitol Land & Livestock’s website. We are proud to be set up to show you the cattle we have for sale daily so that you may know what you are buying before they are shipped to you. I would like to explain a little bit about the site. The pictures are taken every morning. Each load of cattle may be made up from multiple orders of cattle (i.e. #1s & #1 1/2s). I take pictures of each order and put them together under the heading of the load that is for sale that day. I might use the whole pen of #1 650 wt black/charX/Heifers, add some #1 Xbreds, and then add some #1 ½ Xbreds. This could be 3 or 4 pictures under the #1 & #1 ½ Heifers heading and the put together load of cattle could be any of the cattle in any of the pictures. This way we can get the photos out early in the morning before we put the load of cattle together.
You can receive automatic updates on our daily pictures without going to the website. Just go to the REGISTER button on the top right of the page and click it. Put in your email and phone number, click what weight, sex, and kind of cattle you’d like to receive pics of, and whether you would like to receive sms messages, emails or both sent to you daily. If you ever decide to change your parameters or stop receiving emails or sms messages you can hit ACCOUNT and change your parameters and settings. If you have any questions you can always email us by scrolling all the way to the bottom of any page you are on and hitting contact. This will set up an email. Lastly we are always able to receive phone calls. I am proud to be able to provide real time photos of our daily buy and provide you, the customer, with even more transparency and honesty that Capitol Land & Livestock is known for.
